Our family switched from a petrol scooter to the Ather 450s four months ago and we could not be happier. The smooth, progressive power delivery is perfect when my kids ride pillion — there is no sudden surge that makes passengers nervous. Suspension handles Coimbatore's road surfaces well and the pillion seat is comfortable for longer city trips. Build quality feels premium and the safety features give me confidence. The geofencing alert is something I actively use. Charging overnight at home keeps it topped up for the whole week across all our family errands. The running cost savings have been remarkable. Genuinely the best two-wheeler purchase we have made as a family.

The Ather 450s handles my daily commute well and the connected features are genuinely impressive for the price. Range in eco mode is honest and the ride quality is smooth through Chennai traffic. My frustration is with the charging infrastructure — the Ather Grid network in my part of the city is sparse and two of the three nearby points were non-functional on separate occasions. Home charging works but takes longer than I would like on a busy week. Build quality is solid and the app is polished. If Ather sorts the charging network reliability, this would be a near-perfect commuter. For now, it requires more planning than I expected.

I came to the Ather 450s from a 150cc petrol scooter and the acceleration off the line genuinely surprised me. Sport mode gives a satisfying punch that makes city riding fun rather than just functional. The OTA updates have added features I did not pay for at purchase, which speaks well of Ather's approach to software. Performance in sport mode is spirited enough for daily enthusiasm even if it does not match the 450x's outright pace. Charging at home overnight is seamless and the Ather Grid app integration makes finding charge points simple. Build quality is excellent for the price. A rewarding scooter for someone who wants more than bland point-to-point transport.
